The Sport of Horse Racing
The sport of horse racing has been very popular as far back as records go. It can be considered one of the oldest sports in the world. There are several historical records stating the importance of horse racing that go back millennia. Horse racing was included in the Greek Olympic event from 638 BC. The modern form of horse racing is believed to be originated from the twelfth century. At this time, Arabian horses were fed European food. Due to the feeding of European food items, the horses turned into powerful creatures with an extraordinary level of speed. Horse racing as we know it started from this period.
Racecourses were built in large numbers during the 1700's in England and the Jockey Club was created during 1750. Later, they formulated the necessary standards and rules required for horse racing as a sport. Horses and horse racing sports were introduced in USA during the 1600s and the first racetrack was organized in Long Island during the year 1665.
Thoroughbred racing is the most famous kind of horse racing sport. In these horse races, the horse will be accompanied by a rider called the jockey. The horse will race along a flat-shaped track along with the jockey for a distance of about ¾ of a mile to 2 miles.
In harness horse racing, a normal bred horse will be pulling either a two wheeler bike or buggy along with the driver along a mile course. The thoroughbred will be running its own course and the normal bred will be either a pacer or a trotter and it is not supposed to either run or gallop. Thoroughbreds have the ability to attain a speed of forty miles per hour, and a standard bred has the ability to attain a speed of about thirty miles an hour.
Quarter horse racing has also gained high popularity in United States. There are about ninety racetracks for thoroughbreds and twenty nine racetracks for standard bred in thirty three states. The style of horse racing differs from one nation to another and the kind of events. For instance, horse races will be conducted using obstacles such as fences or hurdles known as National Hunt racing and races that are unobstructed in a particular distance is termed flat racing in the United Kingdom. In the US, thoroughbred horse racing will be conducted on grass or even flat dirt.

Twins Developmental Milestones
As Twin Parents we shouldn't wish away time and we ought to be planning to enjoy all the precious moments we have with our twin babies but as a parent of twins twice over I'll truthfully say there are some twin milestones that at the time I thought I could not wait for. Why? Well as a mother of twins handling two babies all day each night and day and regularly with only one pair of hands while hubby working made for one exhausted twin mummy, me.
My personal wishlist for twin development milestones to be achieved and why.
Night Feeds. How I can remember wishing they'd slow down or maybe stop. Why? Because with no more than 3 hours sleep per night in bits of about 40 minutes at a time for one or two long months I was exhausted.
Twins Able To Hold Their Own Bottles. Because you want to become an expert in Yoga at times to perform the double feed and I wasn't an expert.
T wins Holding Their Heads Up. It makes doing the double scoop up and lift way easier when your babies can hold their own heads up.
Twins Sitting Up Unaided. This really makes life easier. It gives you options of where you can set down your babies. It allows one baby to be carried while they other one can still very much feel included without the need for baby seats.
Twins Crawling. Hmm, I thought I wanted this marker to occur but then naturally when it happens and you spend your time making an attempt to work out the right way to go extremely swiftly in two different directions you wonder whether you wanted this milestone at all! Safety Gates and/or a play den help to conquer this practical problem.
Twins Walking. Well, surely this suggests less lifting two babies? No, wrong, more of the same different direction dilemmas. Twins out walking love to go in different directions especially when using reins.
Disposing of the double buggy. Well it's heavy and cumbersome and not easy to negotiate in tiny shops and other such areas. And when twins don't want to be in their stroller because they want to walk it's almost impossible to point double push-chair and double children along safely if at all.
Twin Potty Training. The amount of nappy changes soon become tiresome and you look forward to saving the weekly money and spending it on something else.
Toilet Training. You're fed up of emptying potty after potty after potty.
Twins Wiping their own bottoms. Why? Because toilet time seems like a sustained relay race where you are doing all of the laps!
Joking aside, despite the many myths that surround twins, twins are unlikely to reach their milestones at precisely the same time. Sure enough, when one twin begins to talk, crawl or walk the second is certain to copy and follow shortly but it is doubtful that they may both walk on the very same day at the same time.
One certainty is your twins will keep you on your toes at each part of their development and you'll need to be both creative and flexible when facing the challenging role of parenting twins. Just as you leave one difficult phase you will enter another. The relentless feeding demands will slow down and before you have the time to reflect, you will be making an attempt to contain 2 crawling babies heading in very different directions so enjoy your twin journey and try to not wish away the milestones.

I am looking for a awesome 1/8 scale racing buggy. my price limit is $300.
