There's nothing I enjoy more than packing up my carp fishing tackle on a cool, crisp morning, and setting out to stalk this noble and wily fish. Right before I place this fish back in the water, I often times admire its good looks and fortitude. In that I specifically enjoy carp, I want for my tackle to show this. This is an affordably priced reel at about £139.99, but do look for it on special offer for about £119.99, especially on the Internet. Since it has shown, time and again, that it can be dependable and strong, this reel holds a sure spot in Shimano's line of products. Having an abundance of Shimano's finest attributes, like an integrated Baitrunner spool, the Biomaster has remained among my choice pieces of carp fishing tackle. The size of the reel is ideal, not too large, so it's perfect for use on most of my specialised carp rods. In spite of the fact that appearance isn't a huge marketing aspect to me, I think that the Biomaster's stylish dark colour design makes it really appealing to the eye.
Carp Fishing Tackle: More About the Shimano Biomaster 8000 XT-B Reel
The 8000 XT -B contains 3 protected ball bearings and one roller bearing. Another key feature for me is Floating Shaft II that reduces friction between the spool shaft and pinion gear. This 2-speed oscillation system contained on the Biomaster is the worm gear style, and furnishes excellent line lay, together with winding shape which works as an energy saver when you're casting. The consequence? A smaller amount of effort, and much lengthier casting distances. Super Stopper II is an anti-reverse feature that I find quite useful, along with the AR-C line management system. This reel's retrieve ratio is 4.6:1. The 8000 XT -B offers a line capacity of 350yd of 17lb test line and its weight is 720g. These many elements join making the Biomaster an incomparable reel.

will a 700r4 out of an 88 4x4 suburban fit into my 92 camaro if i use my tail shaft?
both have 350 engines.
it will physically bolted to the motor but the tail shaft and extension housing from 92 Camaro must be reuse. The only way to swap the tail shaft is complete transmission disaasembly.
On other hand, I would not use 1988 Suburban transmission because of it's 27 splines input shaft [weak] and outdated internal components.
GM revised 700R4 internal components during early 90's to make it more reliable....such as 30 splines input shaft, bigger servo plus many other things.
One more thing, transmission internal gearing is 100% same....trust me on that!
