Cost of Wind Turbines
Although they were first put into use about a century ago, electricity-generating wind turbines continue to improve steadily in terms of effectiveness and value. The best change, in the eye of the average consumer, has been to the price tag. Wind turbines come in a few basic categories, each of which is intended to serve a specific purpose and is likely to be more or less appropriate in relation to the prospective buyer’s requirements.
Large, commercial wind turbines, which have been around since about 1930, are one type of turbine which has developed markedly in recent years. Some of the areas in which they’ve gotten better include: blade design, which makes a massive difference with regard to a wind turbine’s overall performance; dependability, which is crucial for a machine you expect to operate 24/7; and efficiency, generating more output even with less wind. This type of wind turbine differs from residential-use turbines in that it’s constructed from stronger and heavier materials, as it’s usually intended to handle higher winds.
Since the strongest and most relentless winds are usually in remote areas such as shorelines, large-scale wind turbines usually need to be placed in these areas. Being “out of the way” like this makes it expensive to have to repair them any more than occasionally, so it’s crucial that these units are especially reliable. Large-scale turbines are the most costly of all modern turbines, usually starting at about $25,000, and often exceeding $100,000.
Wind turbines for use in a residential environment are essentially scaled-down versions of those larger, commercial models. Residential areas, due to the prevalence of buildings and other obstacles, normally see regular shifts in wind patterns, and this was a tricky problem for early residential-use turbines to deal with.
Weight was also a problem for the first generation of residential-use wind turbines. It would usually be necessary to have a strong, purpose-built tower to support them. All told, the limitations and costs were usually too much for many homeowners to really consider.
Micro turbines, the most recent phase in the development of residential-use wind turbines, rectify the problems that held back earlier versions. Micro turbines are designed to generate power even from lower-speed winds, meaning that it’s often unnecessary to have them mounted on a tower. Some owners even set up micro turbines directly on the roof. By working constantly, even without the need for high winds, these small units produce a reliable stream of power. Starting around $600, these models are much more affordable than larger ones, but will still give you enough energy to provide huge savings on electrical bills in the long run
Wind turbines vary quite a bit in terms of their size and power, and the price tends to vary accordingly as well. Some homeowners are even building their own wind turbines, which makes them even more affordable. The free, never-ending electricity and corresponding savings that come with a wind turbine make this a worthwhile project for anyone.

Lady Liberty is 151 feet, 1 inch tall, from its base to the end of her torch.
Here it is, straight from one of the Lady Liberty's own sites, which gives you Every-Single-Measurement:

The tallest tree in USA is located in the Redwood National Park, in California. It's an awesome sight among so very many giants. Just beautiful and so peaceful! This particular one is a Redwood of 370 feet tall.
Now... The Tallest Tree in the World is an Eucaliptus located in Mount Baw Baw, in Victoria, Australia. It is "470 feet tall":

The beautiful Tokyo Tower is the tallest artificial structure in Japan. It is 13 meters taller than the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France. It is 2,003 feet tall:

Gorgeous and amazing but also freezing Mount Everest is most dangerous and many lives have been lost by hiking, exploring, camping, and climbing. It is 29,029 feet tall:
