Johnson & Johnson Q3 Profit Drops; Adj. EPS Tops View - Update (RTT News)
Healthcare giant Johnson & Johnson Tuesday reported a decline in profit for
the third quarter, hurt by lower domestic revenues and higher costs. However,
adjusted earnings topped Wall Street estimates. Looking ahead, the company
raised the lower end of its full-year earnings guidance range, while
maintaining the upper end. Net earnings for the quarter declined to $3.20
billion or $1.15 per share from $3.42 billion or $1.23 per share in the
previous year.
