After the latest facelift of the Mercedes-Benz SL Class, Lorinser’s designers headed back to the draw board to cook up a new styling kit for the German roadster. The result is a full bodykit that will satisfy the eyes of any yuppie boy racer. The kit consists of a front bumper spoiler complete with a blunt Lorinser badge that replaces Merc’s famous star, new fenders with redesigned air vents, side skirts with air openings, a new rear bumper with an integrated diffuser that houses the quad exhaust tips and a boot lid spoiler. The aero kit is complemented by a new set of alloy wheels while Lorinser also offers a series of interior accessories for those who want to live on the wild side. As for performance upgrades, the Swabian tuner said that it is currently working on an engine optimization kit for the facelifted Mercedes SL range and that it will release details in the very near future. We just can’t wait. See more photos after the jump Continued

We’re not sure what Lorinser is trying to tell us with the color of choice for the GLK teaser sketches, but fact is the German firm will be one of the first tuners to get their hands on Mercedes-Benz’ all-new compact SUV that’s set to arrive in European dealerships this October with the U.S following in early 2009. Other than the teaser sketches, there’s no official information on what Lorinser is preparing for the GLK but we gather that apart from the full bodykit and new alloy wheels, the tuning firm will also present a sport suspension set-up along with a series of upgrades for the SUV’s engine line-up

The pioneer of the four-door coupe niche, the Mercedes CLS line ranges from luxurious traveler to raging powerhouse - in stock form. The stock CLS 500 slots in between those two extremes, but Lorinser’s version closes part of the gap to the range-topping CLS 63 AMG with power upgrades and a redesigned look.
Adding a full 72hp (53kW) to the already stout V8 engine, the CLS 500 is re-badged the Lorinser L 55 R-S, with a full 460hp (338kW) and 585Nm of torque on tap. That kind of power is enough to push the rather large car up to its 186mph (300km/h) top speed.
Power isn’t the only addition to the mix, however, as Lorinser also adds a unique set of aerodynamic and styling features. A new front bumper with integrated spoiler and fog lights, side-sills, a rear boot lid spoiler and a redesigned rear apron give the L 55 R-S a subtly lower, meaner look.
Of course the car is fitted with the obligatory 20-inch alloy wheels and graced with a custom interior. Blue lighting in the door sills, a sport steering wheel and carbon fiber trim throughout complete the Lorinser treatment.
